Remap any key on Windows with Keyforge

Keyforge, AutoFlow’s remapping tool, turns any key into another key, a text snippet, an app launcher, a media key or a whole flow — and switches profiles automatically by app, time or device.

How to do it in AutoFlow

  1. Open Keyforge and create a profile.
  2. Press the key you want to change and choose what it should do.
  3. Optionally limit the profile to certain apps or times of day.
  4. Save; Keyforge checks for duplicates, OS-reserved keys and loops first.

Tips

  • Turn Caps Lock into a layer key to get arrows and shortcuts on the home row.
  • Use “repeat while held” or toggle mode for keys you would rather not hold down.
  • Profiles can follow the app in front, so a game and a work app can use different layouts.

Questions

Does remapping change the registry?

No. Keyforge remaps while AutoFlow runs, so turning it off restores your keyboard immediately.

Can I remap mouse buttons too?

Yes, including single, double and long presses and the wheel direction.

Is it free?

Yes for personal use, with every feature on Windows, Android and the web and no ads. Work, business or commercial use needs a Business license.
