Remap mouse buttons, side buttons and the wheel

Extra mouse buttons are most useful when they do what you need. Keyforge maps side buttons, double clicks, long presses and wheel directions to keys, shortcuts, apps or flows.

How to do it in AutoFlow

  1. Open Keyforge and add a mapping for a mouse button.
  2. Choose single, double or long press, or a wheel direction.
  3. Assign the action: a shortcut such as Ctrl+C, text, an app, a media key or a flow.
  4. Optionally tie the mapping to a specific app profile.

Tips

  • Map back/forward buttons to copy/paste for document work.
  • Use long press for a second action on the same button.
  • Keyforge warns about conflicts with flow hotkeys before you save.

Questions

Does it need my mouse vendor’s software?

No. Keyforge works with standard mouse buttons that Windows recognises.

Can mappings change per game or app?

Yes. Profiles switch automatically when an app comes to the front.

Is it free?

Yes for personal use, with every feature on Windows, Android and the web and no ads. Work, business or commercial use needs a Business license.
