Keyboard macros for repetitive typing and shortcuts

Keyboard macros replay key presses, shortcuts and text so long sequences become one key. AutoFlow combines them with mouse steps, conditions and variables when you need more.

How to do it in AutoFlow

  1. Add Key steps for single keys or combinations such as Ctrl+Shift+S.
  2. Add Type text steps for words, sentences or values from variables.
  3. Use waits or “wait for window” so keys land in the right program.
  4. Assign a global hotkey; AutoFlow warns you if it clashes with another shortcut.

Tips

  • Use “focus window” first so keystrokes never go to the wrong app.
  • Store changing values (names, dates) in variables instead of editing the macro each time.
  • Password fields are masked when you record.

Questions

Can a keyboard macro press keys repeatedly?

Yes. Put the key step in a loop with a count, a duration or “until stopped”.

Do I need to code?

No. Easy mode and the visual editor cover most macros; Pro mode adds conditions and variables without scripting.

Is it free?

Yes for personal use, with every feature on Windows, Android and the web and no ads. Work, business or commercial use needs a Business license.
