Read text on screen and act on it
When the value you need is only visible on screen, OCR reads it. AutoFlow captures a region, recognises the text and stores it in a variable your flow can compare, type or log.

How to do it in AutoFlow
- Add an OCR step and select the screen region to read.
- Store the result in a variable.
- Use an If step to compare it, or type it somewhere else.
- Log the value in the Ledger or send a notification.
Tips
- Select a tight region around the text for better accuracy.
- Clean numbers with the expression language before comparing them.
- Combine with wait-for-text to pause until a message appears.

Which languages can it read?
It reads the scripts supported by the system OCR engine, including Latin and CJK text on most setups.
Is the screen sent to a server?
No. OCR runs on your device.
Is it free?
Yes for personal use, with every feature on Windows, Android and the web and no ads. Work, business or commercial use needs a Business license.
